Ever wondered what happens in the
warzone? There is darkness and blood. Armies from sides fight with their full
might and courage for the honor of their country. They are rightfully biased,
and none can be judged. With black marks across their faces and camouflaging
uniform, these soldiers tip-toe through the grass like a cat on the attack.
With rapid heartbeats, they have only one thing in mind; peace. They create war
for peace. How ironic! Sometimes they lose; other times, they win the
territory. And this traumatizing experience is not just a once-in-a-lifetime
thing. They ought to fight again and again until their land is free and peace
is attained.
Imagine these soldiers with
bravado running in their blood and everlasting, body-damaging fracture in their
bones. What if they won’t ever be able to fight? To show courage? To assist
their teammates? Only imagining is exhausting enough for us civilians, and
these disabled veterans have to live with the rue of not protecting themselves
before the country.
Many vacation trusts offer free vacations for disabled
veterans because they realize the support that the veterans need from
the world after dedicating most part of their lives for the well-being of their
country and people. We, as civilians, should donate to these trusts to
accommodate for their loss.
If you must question why there
should be free vacations
for disabled veterans, here is a reason.
Compensation
To even think is horrendous. To
experience is to die. Yet, these veterans survived and have the will to live
even after living a near-death experience. The least we can do is compensate
and provide them with peace. These veterans need vacations to take their minds
off of the trauma. We all are accustomed to the minimal grants they receive
from the military, which can only suffice for their everyday needs. Hence, we
can donate free vacationsfor disabled veterans. They are often not allowed on daily flights and
vacation sites because of their disability. However, they are only physically
disabled; they are not disabled enough not to enjoy a good day at a quaint
destination.
Compensation and only compensation can make those disabled veterans feel like they have lost only their movement, not their people, not their home. After spending on medicines and physiotherapy, there is only a little to save for a long and good timeout. Vacation trusts help them savor the perks of life and make sure to compensate their outstanding services with free vacations for disabled veterans.
