For any person living in today’s world, life is accompanied by everyday decisions that are very difficult to make and often require some sacrifice. Every day many individuals are put through the difficult decision of either pursuing their personal interests or ensuring financial stability. Many budding talents have been lost due to the burden of staying financially afloat. There is not one person who does not wish to be successful in this world. People would like nothing more to gain success doing something they love, but unfortunately, this is a convenience not affordable for many. Success is not easily achieved. A person has to brave through continuous tides of harsh reality checks in order to come up to the point of successful stature. One such person that did not give in to the realities of life and stayed true to what he loved is Marlon Clarke, a.k.a DJ B Real.
Life is the hardest game one will
ever experience or play. With time economy has stacked the deck majorly against
the majority of the people where now they do not get even a chance to pursue
their aspirations. They have a choice as to either spend their time trying to
achieve what is hard to do so or accept reality and work themselves to the bone
to ensure their well-being in this society. The human spirit is bound to break
when faced with such dire decisions. They almost unanimously decide that a
foreseeable future in something they do not enjoy is better in an uncertain one
that is their goal. There have been countless people who have tried to achieve
their aspirations but tend to give up after experiencing some significant
defeats. It has become an understanding that some things are better kept a
lofty dream than engaging in a futile effort to make it a reality. However,
sometimes some people do not back down even after understanding the many
failures that lie in front. They know fully that the journey in front of them
is a long and hard one chooses it and makes it their only option in life. DJ B
Real is an excellent example of such an individual that no matter how many
times fell down kept getting up and carrying on until he reached his
destination.
DJ B Real was born on November
15, 1984, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. From the very beginning, he was a person
of determined nature, as nothing was blandly given to him. He treated each day
as a fight that had to be won, never comprising his life goals. He completely
understood the working of society and what was in store for him in his journey
to becoming all he aspired to be. From an early age, DJ B Real had a great
interest in music and felt at peace whenever indulging himself in his favorite
tunes. As time passed, his interest became a passion, and he strived to gain
mastery in melodies and lyrics. Making musical success his goal gave him great
resolve but also filled him with some uncertainty. He had witnessed many people
trying their luck in the music world only to be shot down and fail. While a
field where people could embrace stardom in short times, the music world also
killed more sprouting talents than any other. From the very start, he knew of
the consequences that could lay ahead but was fearless and determined to think
of this as his only goal.
He dove all in and started
educating himself on the different fields and genres of music and audio engineering.
He fell in love with the different beats and rhythms that were born from
tweaking and experimenting with other beats. After he grasped a strong handle
in the vast field of audio engineering, he decided to make this field his
professional forte. Audio engineering involved many challenging aspects of
technology mixed with artisan. Being new to this profession, he could have
chosen a much easier field. However, taking the easy way out was never his way
of doing things. After much trial-and-error practice, DJ B Real finally debuted
with his first track, “Webbie Gutta Bitch”, which was a track in Webbie’s debut
album” Savage Life” in 2005. This release became his banging entry into the
music industry as the track received much praise and recognition from the
audience.
In 2009 DJ B Real was signed by
Trill Entertainment Records as a producer, which was his second professional
accomplishment. He then went on to produce different tracks on Webbie’s ‘savage
Life 2’, Lil Phat’s ‘Life of Yungsta’, which was hosted by none other than DJ
Khaled himself in Miami. After gaining such success in a small-time, DJ B Real
decided that it was time for him to start a private venture. In 2012, DJ formed
his own group called “Drama Boys.” The group included him, Infa Red, and Nephew.
He had high hopes for their group, which went on to be left unfulfilled. The
group only had one release, “We ‘Bout Dat Drama,” which was featured on B
Real’s own Production house Jigga House Record. However, this failure only
fueled his determination to succeed. Sometime later, he founded his new label,
Pay the Producer Production, through which he released his first solo mixtape
called, Pay the Producer, Volume 1. After three years of nonstop hustle and
efforts, he started working with the TBG Gang outta Baton Rouge.
DJ B Real did not let the hurdles
in his journey to success become permanent and conquered them one by one with
patience and perseverance. What started as an interest and grew into a passion
had now made him into a prominent name in the audio engineering industry.
Through hard work and the tenacity to never give in, his name is now
recognizable to everyone who partakes in melodious beats.
